Voting is how teams reach decisions on motions in Decisio.
Open a motion that's open for voting
Review the proposal details
Click Vote For, Vote Against, or Abstain
Your vote is recorded
Decisio uses transparent voting:
Before voting: You can see that others have voted, but not how
After voting: You can see how everyone voted
This encourages independent thinking while maintaining accountability.
You can change your vote while a motion is still open:
Open the motion
Click Change Vote
Select your new choice
Workspace administrators can configure:
Quorum: Minimum number of votes required
Pass threshold: Percentage needed to pass (e.g., simple majority, 2/3)
Motions can have optional deadlines. When set:
Members receive reminders before the deadline
Voting closes automatically at the deadline
Results are calculated based on votes received
Once voting is complete, the outcome is displayed on the motion card.
