What is Decisio?
Decisio is a Decision Governance Platform designed for boards and committees. Unlike task management tools, Decisio focuses specifically on the decision-making process, from raising issues through to recording binding resolutions with full audit trails.
Who is Decisio for?
Decisio is built for any governance body that makes formal decisions:
Corporate boards and advisory committees
Homeowners associations (HOAs) and strata committees
Non-profit boards and councils
Government committees and working groups
Any group requiring documented, accountable decision-making
What's the difference between Issues, Motions, and Resolutions?
A topic or matter requiring a decision. Issues frame the problem or opportunity being addressed.
A formal proposal to resolve an issue. Motions are debated and voted upon.
The recorded outcome once a motion passes. Resolutions are permanent records that cannot be edited.
The flow is: Issue (what needs deciding) → Motion (proposed solution) → Resolution (binding decision).
What voting methods are supported?
Decisio supports three voting methods:
Vote — Traditional voting where members cast For, Against, or Abstain
Consensus — Collaborative agreement where members indicate support or concerns
Chair Decides — The chair makes the determination on behalf of the group
Can external people vote without an account?
Yes. You can invite participants to vote on specific motions without requiring them to create a Decisio account. Participants receive a secure invitation link to cast their vote.
Can I change a resolution after it's recorded?
No. Resolutions are permanent records and cannot be edited. This ensures the integrity of your governance records.
If circumstances change, you can:
Void a resolution (mark it as no longer valid)
Supersede it with a new resolution that replaces the original
Security & Data
Is my data secure?
Yes. Decisio takes data security seriously:
All data is hosted in Australia
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
We use Supabase with Row Level Security for data isolation
Regular security audits and updates
What happens if I delete my account?
Before account deletion:
You must transfer ownership of any workspaces you own
Your personal data will be removed from our systems
Resolutions and voting records you participated in remain for governance integrity, but are anonymised where possible
How does billing work?
Decisio uses per-decision metered billing. You're charged based on the number of resolutions recorded, not the number of users. This makes it cost-effective for organisations of any size.
