Common issues and how to resolve them.


Login Issues

I can't log in to my account

Check your email address Ensure you're using the same email address you registered with. Email addresses are case-sensitive.

Reset your password Click "Forgot password" on the login page to receive a password reset link.

Check your spam folder Password reset and magic link emails sometimes end up in spam or junk folders.

Clear browser cache Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, then attempt to log in again.

Try a different browser If issues persist, try logging in with a different browser to rule out browser-specific problems.


Invitations

A participant didn't receive their invitation

Check the email address Verify the email address was entered correctly when sending the invitation.

Ask them to check spam/junk folders Invitation emails can sometimes be filtered by email providers.

Resend the invitation You can resend the invitation from the motion's participant list.

Check corporate email filters Some organisations block external emails. The participant may need to whitelist emails from @decisio.com.au.


Motions & Voting

My motion won't open for voting

A motion must meet certain conditions before voting can begin:

Check if seconding is required If your workspace requires motions to be seconded, ensure another member has seconded the motion.

Verify motion status The motion must be in "Proposed" status. Check if it's still in draft or has already been resolved.

Check your permissions Only workspace administrators and motion creators can open voting.

Review voting configuration Ensure the voting method and deadline are configured correctly.


Resolutions

A resolution isn't appearing

Check if the issue is resolved Resolutions only appear once a motion has passed and the issue is marked as resolved.

Verify the motion passed If a motion was defeated or withdrawn, no resolution is created.

Check your workspace filters You may have filters applied that are hiding the resolution. Try clearing all filters.

Allow time for processing After voting closes, it may take a moment for the resolution to be generated.

The page isn't displaying correctly

  1. Update your browser to the latest version

  2. Disable browser extensions temporarily, as some can interfere with web applications

  3. Clear your browser cache and reload the page

  4. Try incognito/private mode to rule out extension conflicts
